This report describes the results of an initial cultural resources study of a proposed housing development for members of the Sherwood Valley Band of Pomo Indians. The study area consists of a 57.88-acre parcel near Willits, Mendocino County, California. The study was performed in October 1987 by Janet P. Eidsness, Archaeological Consultant, under authorization from Darlene Tooley of the Northern Circle Indian Housing Authority.
